Hi! I’m Brittany!
I am currently completing my practicum placement at The Wellness Couch as part of my Master of Education in Counselling through Acadia University.
Since I am still learning and developing as a therapist, I look forward to working with you in learning more about what makes you, you! I see therapy as a way that can open up a world of opportunities that we can explore together through being curious, open minded and letting you lead the way. We would work together to explore what brings you to therapy and where you would like to go with our time together.
I am drawn to approaches that focus upon connections and relationships, as well as seeing the client as the expert and author of their own story. These therapeutic styles lend themselves to my belief around the importance of connections to development and the understanding of how to cope when life gets challenging.
My role is to walk alongside you during your journey with encouragement, empathy and curiosity. I am here to support the uncovering of your own strengths and abilities, shaping the next chapter of your life with care and intention. I look forward to meeting you and helping you work towards your next chapter!
